Chess and Drama

Today at Enrich we did drama. My favourite part of drama was when we played musical bumps because I came second and second! The rules were that when Katie stopped the music you had to sit down and cross your legs and if you were last to sit down you were eliminated. I was very pleased with myself because I love to win!

We also played chess after we did drama. I played Matt L. We played one game and he won it. I'm used to losing chess because when I play my dad he usually wins.

(I've only beaten Dad twice: one of the times it was just pure luck, and the second time he wasn't feeling so good.)

 Anyway. Back to today's game.....It was extremely close but in the end he won by one move. He is now 5th and I am now 6th. The top six on the leader board are Bruno, Matt S, Travis, Liam, Matt L and me. We play chess to sharpen our brains.

Wilson game and Chess

Today at Enrich we played a Wilson game. It was called the Hoop game. The rules were that you had to have a group of three. You had to hold the other peoples hands on your team. In my group I had Bruno and Katura.

Today we also played leaderboard chess. I played Grace and we played two games and I won both of our games. Since I won that game it put me into second place but then Matt S bet Liam in first so he is now in first place and I had to move down to third. The top six are Matt S, Liam, Me, Grace, Darryn and Mia.

Wilson game and the 4 corner stones

Today at Enrich we played a Wilson game. The rules are that you were not allowed to talk. We got the best time of the week so far, our times were 21 seconds with 1 ball, 34 seconds with 2 balls and 28 seconds with 3 balls.

We also talked about the 4 corner stones. They are... Mental edge, Concept Curriculum, Passion time and talent Development and Affective Domain.  My favourite one is mental edge because I like the mental edge games.

Games outside and the sausage sizzle and chess

Today at Enrich before lunch me Jacob and Eddie painted a four square outline for out in the car-park area.. We used blue paint and for the practice used pink chalk. The other games we are going to put in the car park are 2 square a soccer pitch and a basketball hoop.

Today at Enrich we also had a sausage sizzle. The most sausages you could have is two except there was some extra so some people had three.

When we played Chess today I played Eddie. We didn't get much done because we had to paint the lines for 4 square. At the end of the year I will be 10th on the leader board and Libby would be 1st.

Chess and passion time

Today at Enrich we played Chess. I played Ali. We played two games. I won both of them. Except they were very close. The top six on the leader board heading into the final week are. Libby, Darryn, Thomas, Alana, Claudia and James. I am 12th on the leader board.

Today in passion time I did sewing. My plan was to make a soccer ball cushion. It ended up slightly different to my plan but I still liked it. The main colour is blue and there is stripes in it to. 

Chess and Wilson game.

Today at Enrich we played a Wilson game. The aim the game was to jump into the hoops. There were also rules. It was hard to play because you had to hold hands and jump with your feet together.

Today in Chess I played Jacob. I won the game but it was close. I am only one position higher than him. The top six on the leader board are Libby, Darryn, Alana, Claudia, James and Max.

Passion time and Chess

Today at Enrich we did passion time. I did sewing for the first time. I was trying to make a fish. It was tricky to cut it out and very hard to sew it together because I had to stop put the pin in and turn the fabric around.

In Chess today I only got to play one game and it was against Willie. I won but it was close at first but when I took out his Queen I started to play better. The top 6 are Libby, Claudia, Darryn, James, MaxJ and Eddie.
