Chess and Talent Development

This morning at Enrich it all started with chess.  Bruno challenged me. It was a good match but some one had to win. I was so unlucky to lose because the game went for 3/4 of chess time.  The top six are now: Bruno, me, Matt L, Matt S, Darryn and Travis.

Just before lunch we did Talent Development. Our goal of the day was to practise videoing the other pair interviewing each other. We were practicing using different camera angles, and filming smoothly using the tripods. At the end of that we imported our video into
I-movie. Travis and I made our video 1minute and 30 seconds.  We will edit this footage next week.

The Pit and Talent Development

Today at Enrich we did something called "The Pit". It was about how you shouldn't let a problem get out of hand, otherwise you might fall into a pit! We need to think of strategies to help problems get out of control.  You could tell a teacher or tell your parents straight away before it gets out of hand.

Just before lunch we did talent development.  Our focus was to do a bit of our screenplay.  A screenplay is a script for the actors to use in the commercial we are doing.  We also made our characters, my character is BILLY, Norton's character is LUNA, Travis' is BJ and Rhylee is BELLA the bully proof kid.

Chess and Talent Development

Today at Enrich we started with Chess. I played Bruno once and Reid twice. I beat Bruno which meant I moved to the TOP of the leader-board! After that, I beat Reid both times as well. The Chess tournament is in a few weeks, and Katie said Enrich can only take about 5 teams, which would be the top five players from each day. The top five for Wednesday, currently are: Me, Matt L, Bruno, Matt S and Travis.

At Talent Development we did some planning for what our commercial will turn out like for the MADE Awards. We are focussing on anti-bullying. The characters are: Me and Norton as school kids, Travis as the bully and Rhylee as the bully proof kid! We are trying to get this message across...

         DO NOT BULLY!
